BH Cosmetics (BH), a direct-to-consumer color cosmetics brand,
has been acquired by MidOcean Partners for an undisclosed sum.
BH will continue to be lead by its founders, CEO Fred Sadovsky,
CSO Kirill Trachtenberg and COO Robert Sefaradi. The founders
will also retain a significant ownership stake in the company.
The acquisition will help BH expand its reach in current and new
markets. MidOcean previously sought out a position in the beauty
sector with its acquisition of Image Skincare in August of 2015.
Selfridges London has been announced as the first partner
outside of Asia to offer the new color cosmetics from Decorté.
The brand hopes that offering the new products exclusively at
Selfridges will strengthen its relationship with U.K. consumers.
Decorté took over the Selfridges Mary Site for a limited time, with
makeup artists on-hand to help shoppers experience the new
Products include the Dip in Glow, a multi-use highlighter with
the texture of a serum and moisturizing oil (SRP £ 32), the Eye
Glow Gem Eyeshadow available in 30 shades (SRP £ 25) and
The Rouge lipstick, available in 30 shades and in both a matte
( 5 shades) and glow ( 25 shades) formulas (SRP £ 32).
NYX Professional Makeup celebrated the launch of
its new Love You So Mochi Collection with the debut of
#MochiMonday. On Monday, January 8, 2018, from 2-4
pm in Los Angeles, Uber Eats delivered the new makeup
collection, as well as mochi ice cream from My/Mo Mochi
Ice Cream. Products were free, but a $4.99 booking fee
was applied at checkout. The Love You So Mochi Collection
includes two eyeshadow palettes with 10 shadows, as well
as two duo-chromatic highlighter palettes.
Fenty Beauty is expanding its product offering once again
with the launch of its matte lipstick collection, aptly named
Mattemoiselle. The collection is made up of 14 shades
designed to flatter all skin tones, including Ma’damn (royal
