Alban Muller International launched Lipidamix, a new range of
oil-soluble, eco-designed plant complexes. Manufactured by low-energy processes, the range is 100% natural, preservative-free, and
is intended for application in eco-friendly beauty products. The

Firming, with fenugreek, hops and horsetail; Moisturising, with ivy,

Sederma launched Subliskin, an active ingredient containing
specific oligosaccharides that, according to the company, increase
hyaluronic acid and receptor CD44 synthesis, as well as elastin and
laminin- 5 synthesis. Overall, the active is claimed to counteract the
aggressions to which skin thinning with age is prone—including

Symrise has expanded its Actipone product line to include
superfruits such as acerola, cranberry and pomegranate. In skin
and hair care, these fruits serve as antioxidants and are said to bind
free radicals to help prevent signs of premature aging. Previously
launched as flavorings for near water drinks and juices, the range of
fruit concentrates is appropriate for shampoos and body lotions.
Goji berries, chokeberries (aronia), blueberries, black currants and

Rhodia has developed a rapidly hydrated thickener, derived naturally
from guar, that is compatible with alcohol for the formulation of
soap-free antibacterial hand gels. Jaguar HP120 is designed to
assist formulators with the creation of hydro-alcoholic antibacterial
solutions with moisturizing ingredients to leave hands clean and soft.
According to the company, the thickener provides both sensorial
and economic benefits. It is compatible with hydrating agents,
making it simpler to create daily use gels that do not dry out the skin.
Formulations made with this guar-derivative solution are said to

Chemicals, has released Aqu’activ, a restructuring and fortifying
ingredient formulated for dry and fragile skin that works to
regulate epidermal homeostasis. According to the company, the
